A cop killed an unarmed boy in front of his family in a courtroom and a grand jury ruled that his use of deadly force was reasonable.

IM SORRY WHAT

So the cop lost his temper and started beating up this kids mom. The kid intervened and the cop pinned him to the ground. While he was already pinned to the ground and not fighting, the cop shot him point blank. And the jury ruled that a reasonable use of lethal force. Am I reading this right? Who are these bootlicking pieces of shit they keep getting for these juries?

From the article

—————————

Following the shooting, the Fraternal Order of Police issued a statement in support of their police officer. Executive Vice President Keith Ferrell said:

Whenever somebody attacks an officer, there’s always a
weapon involved, always because the officer is always armed…There’s
always likelihood, the probability, that that person could get your
weapon, incapacitate you with a non-lethal weapon, and then get your
sidearm. We’re trained, absolutely that you can’t allow that to
happen…It was very clear to me, and in my experiences, that he was
attacked and this was a fight for his life at some point.

Same tired old “he feared for his life” bullshit argument from cops.  Sounds like cops are a bunch of trigger happy cowards.

His name was Joseph Haynes. He was a 16 year old boy shot point blank by the officer straddling his prone form while his mom and grandmother watched. Instead of immediately calling for medical aid, the cop first called for back up to remove Joseph’s family. They were dragged away while he lay dying on the floor.

Where the fuck is the White Pride crowd? Where the fuck is the All Lives matter? Where the fuck is the MRA?

They’re pinning kids down and shooting them, apparently.

Reblogging in case anyone wants to say we don’t care when it’s not Black kids. We care when it’s police victimizing the very people they are supposed to be protecting and serving. Period.

This is disgusting. What in the hell?

Police have too much power. They hold life and death in their hands and they know it and they abuse it and they are protected from any consequences from it. It’s SICK.

I have never heard of this shooting and it happened in January of 2018.  (x)  You can’t control a 16 year old so you shoot him point blank.  Death awaits him and he better be ready for judgement day.

So basically, cops need guns because the bad guys have guns.

But it’s okay because cops are only allowed to use lethal force to defend themselves against lethal force.

By the way, every time a cop gets in a fight, they need to consider that the person attacking them is using lethal force because they could take away the cop’s gun and kill them with it.

They just found this white officer guilty of murder

So this dallas officer who killed an unarmed black boy my the name of Jordan Edwards has just been found guilty

I’m happy the family has actual justice as well as the precedence this sets

Y’all still I’ve been watching this trial all week and I honestly didn’t think the city of dallas was gonna pull thru

Roy Oliver was sentenced to 15 years

This happened today in #portland when the #portlandpolice #intentionally fired a #teargas cannister at the head of a #person of #color to #inflict a #fatal wound when there was no #violence from the #left as they #protected #fascists who came into the #city to start #violence. #racistcops

One of the protesters had a stun grenade fired into the back of their head. I am confident it would have been fatal had they not been wearing a helmet. The grenade lodged in the helmet and appears to have been fired horizontally at close range. There is no way it was accidental.

black-to-the-bones:

A small Ohio news organization said one of its photographers was shot by a sheriff’s deputy Monday night while he set up to take pictures of a random traffic stop.

The newspaper speculated that the deputy may have mistaken the camera for a weapon. Andy Grimm(the victim) said the deputy, identified in reports as Jake Shaw, gave him no warning.

Well, you want to film a traffic stop? You will get executed for that.

This is so disgusting to watch. They are 12 year-old boys, who “matched the description” and had to experience this horror. A little boy crying scared to death and the other one telling him to stop , because he wants to stay alive is what makes me cry. Just try to understand this- they know the way cops treat black boys and trying to calm themselves down TO SURVIVE THIS. How horrifying is that?

All cops are pieces of shit. Don’t @ me.

This is where I fucking live.
The cops over here ain’t shit.
Personal experience.

I’m enraged.

The way they say “no one got hurt” makes me sick. They genuinely think they did nothing wrong as though they didn’t just scar those young boys mentally and emotionally. This is terrifying that they genuinely think their actions were justified.

I hate how they can just throw their hands up and shrug as if they did nothing wrong, “wrong place at the wrong time matching the description” okay so you see a couple of 12 year old boys and immediately draw your gun cuz they match the description? A grown ass man felt threatened by 12 year boys to the point where he had to a draw a gun. I know the mom wanted to slap ghetto shit out of him when he said that.

I’ll never stop saying it:

FUCK THE POLICE
FUCK THE POLICE
FUCK THE POLICE

This happened right by my grandmas house, shit is disgusting 😢

police: hmm what if we just simply … destroy the phones, they use to do that too!???
